Ingredients

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into thin slices

3 Tbsp. soy sauce

2 tsp. cornstarch

1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes

1/2 tsp. salt

2 Tbsp. rice vinegar

2 Tbsp. dry sherry

1 Tbsp. sugar

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil

1 can Del Monte Fresh Cut Green Beans, drained

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 Tbsp minced garlic

1 Tbsp minced ginger

1 Tbsp white sesame seeds

sliced green onion, for garnish

white rice, for serving

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the chicken breast, 1 tablespoon of the soy sauce, cornstarch, red pepper flakes. Set it aside.

  2. In another bowl, whisk together the remaining soy sauce, salt, reice vinegar, dry sherry and sugar.

  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium high heat. Add in the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes. Add in the Green Beans, red bell pepper, garlic and ginger. Cook for  2 minutes until the bell pepper is cooked through. Pour in the prepared sauce and cook for another 2 minutes until it has slightly reduced and thickened slightly.

  4. Remove the pan from heat and mix in the sesame seeds. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve with white rice.
