Butter Chicken

A creamy mild butter chicken makes a crowd pleasing recipe - for family dinner or date night. Filled with hearty chicken, veggies and spices this dish is perfect served over rice.
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. butter
1 onion, diced
1 tsp. grated ginger
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 ½ lbs. chicken breast, cut into bite sized pieces
1 (8 oz.) can Del Monte Tomato Sauce
1 Tbsp. garam masala
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. fenugreek
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. black pepper
1 cup heavy cream
1 can Del Monte Fresh Cut Green Beans, drained
chopped cilantro, for garnish
cooked rice, for serving
naan, for serving
lime wedges, for serving
Heat a large pan over medium high heat. Add in the vegetable oil and butter. Once the butter has melted, add in the onion. Saute until the onion is slightly golden brown then mic in the garlic and ginger. Cook for 30 seconds.
Add in the chicken, Tomato Sauce, garam masala, chili powder, fenugreek, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix to combine then cook for about 5 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
Pour in the heavy cream and mix. Reduce the heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes until the sauce has slightly thickened. Mix in the Green Beans and cook for about 1-2 minutes, just until the green beans are warmed through. Garnish with cilantro. Serve with rice, naan, and lime wedges.
